Bowery Ballroom is in the heart of Manhattan and one of the premier venues of the city, hands down. And this winter? WHO said we had to stay at home?? Nah, we got that North London fever dream coming to town — because SORRY are finally touching down in New York City for their COSPLAY Tour, and we’re so not ready (( in the best way possible)). Right here on Friday, December 5th, the duo (and their live band) bring the chaos, the heartbreak, and the hazy cool that’s made them one of the most magnetic names in alt-rock today. And this leg of the tour  as they hit the Americas is a victory lap for their new album Cosplay — which JUST dropped last month so stream it ASAP  — and comes hot off a European stretch that hit Berlin, Paris, Milan, and London before heading stateside. Across this new North American run, they’re hitting cities like DC, Philly, Boston, Montreal, Chicago, Seattle, and LA, but you already know New York is the crown jewel. Expect distortion, sweat, and some serious main-character energy when they take that Bowery stage. The type of night you’ll replay in your head for weeks - and quite honestly, we’re so ready for that. 

Formed in North London by lifelong friends Asha Lorenz and Louis O’Bryen, Sorry were born out of late-night jam sessions, YouTube uploads, and a desire to GTFO of London one day. They officially signed to Domino Records in 2018, and by 2020 they dropped their debut album 925 — a grimy, romantic, and completely unpredictable project that critics ate up. The Guardian called them “the most compelling new band in Britain,” while Pitchfork and NME hailed them for bending indie rock into something cinematic and strange. Their follow-up, Anywhere But Here (2022), turned heartbreak into art — full of smoky guitars, jittery percussion, and Lorenz’s half-whispered vocals that cut right to the core. Over the years, they’ve played sold-out shows across the UK and Europe, graced festival stages like All Points East and Primavera Sound, and earned a devoted cult following for their raw, DIY visuals and haunting live presence.

Now, Cosplay marks a whole new chapter for the new crew. Sleek, punchy, and a little dangerous - all the things we’ve gotten to know to love them for.
