The Fleshtones celebrate 50 Years of Super Rock this 2026 and they're taking their monumental hometown gig to the Bowery Ballroom! This insane garage rock powerhouse has been making heads turn, bang, and whatnot since 1976 and now it's your chance to see the legendary outfit in the flesh! The showdown is guaranteed to deliver their most outstanding titles like "Hitsburg U.S.A" and "Roman Gods" as well as many other tracks both new and old. The Fleshtones deliver their brand of "Super Rock" - a special blend of Garage Rock, Punk and R&B - to venues all across the globe. With over 40 years of touring under their belts since 1976, the author is looking forward to The Fleshtones performing at the Bowery Ballroom show on Friday night, August 7th, 2016. As well as performing all of their best and biggest hits including 'Hexbreaker', 'American Beat' and 'Shadow Line' The Fleshtones will also be performing songs from their most recent studio release of some great new rock songs that demonstrate why this long running independent band are at the top of their game.
Their last studio album featured more great rock songs that remain true to the band's roots and are fresh too. The Fleshtones are a great rock band of standing, playing garage rock for many years. They are one of the most constant touring bands in the independent music scene today. Many years ago they were even one of the first American bands to play in the Soviet Union (during the communist era). 6 Delancey Street in the heart of New York's Lower East Side is where you will find the Bowery Ballroom. A premiere live music venue, the space is perfect for an intensely up-close and personal experience with your favorite performing artists.
